People who took out FirstPlus PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) with their FirstPlus Loans may now be entitled to make FirstPlus PPI claims. FirstPlus has been backed by Barclays Bank, who are now responsible to consider paying FirstPlus PPI compensation payments.
Barclays have admitted they have already had to pay back over 9.5 billion pounds to borrowers who were mis-sold PPI and may need to pay back a further million pounds to borrowers. Many of these borrowers were mis-sold FirstPlus PPI.
FirstPlus Loans were for usually for large sums amounts. Therefore, successful FirstPlus PPI claims can result in borrowers receiving compensation awards of over £5,000 and if they are still repaying their Loans, their remaining monthly payments being substantially reduced.
